We all have our individual quirks which make us human. This individuality drives the flexibility we need to feel like ourselves in our work environments no matter where we are. With Hotbox products, you define your own workspace whenever and wherever, building your worksite around you.
Create your work zone whether you are hot-desking on a daily basis at your offices, or out and about in coffee shops, libraries and co-working areas. Hotbox gives you the flexibility to open up your working world whilst still bringing your personal workstation with you along the way.
You decide where to travel to work today. Hotbox will simply bring your workspace to life.Learn more about our Hotbox
Hotbox began back in 2002 during the age of hot-desking; an original solution to flexible working in office environments. Although people could choose to work in a different location each day, there was hardly any focus on the individual worker who wanted to customise their workspace. Instead, hot-desking was seen as nomadic or clinical; there was no way to add colour to workspaces. And this is where Hotbox came in. We developed a concept which enabled workers the freedom to personalise an impersonal space. Since our humble beginnings, we have now evolved into an international influencer, leading the way in agile working.
Here at Hotbox, we design products that not only make your workstyle efficient and productive, it is individual to you.Learn more about the history

Jamie kick-started his career after he left college where he studied mechanical and production engineering. Over the course of his career, Jamie has worked for some of the largest furniture companies, supplying and designing products to a wealth of clients from across the industry.
Throughout his career, Jamie has worked with industry experts who cultivate leading design practices in the UK. Jamie’s extensive background in product design has also led him to working with public sector clients, helping industries devise new ways of working to improve employee wellbeing.
One of the best parts of Jamie’s job is his work with people and this is one of the reasons he started Hotbox – to reinvent the wheel of how we work in office spaces.
Aside from work, Jamie loves spending time with his family and his two dogs, and rows for Reading Rowing Club in his spare time. It is one of the best ways to unwind from a day’s work – everyone should give it a go.
Since finishing her studies in interior design at Kingston Polytechnic (now Kingston University), Rachel has been running her own design consultancy, Forster Inc. in Shoreditch, London.
With a successful career spanning 20 years, she returned to postgraduate study at Royal College of Art, specialising in leisure design. This informed her practice as a designer, as she became aware of how the workplace has become more domestic and comfortable over the last 20 years.
And this is where Hotbox comes in. Rachel met Jamie whilst bonding over a shared curiosity to make people’s lives easier at work. Both were interested in creating personal storage solutions for people who work in different locations.
For Rachel, the best part of her work is creating unique spaces to reflect the personalities of all the clients, looking at how design attends to human needs. In her spare time, she is an avid snowboarder, dancer and cycler, and goes on plenty of adventures with her three children.
